Music Parents and Friends Association
The Christian Brothers Academy Music Parents and Friends Association is a parent organization whose purpose is to help promote and encourage students to participate in and expand their knowledge of music. The association works closely with the Music Department faculty and assists the Music Department by providing funds to purchase and repair musical instruments. The group also provides volunteers at various music events throughout the year. The Music Parents and Friends Association holds meetings the first Monday of each month. For 2008-2009, the officers of the association are:

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

Christian Brothers Academy Cadet Players was honered by the Schenectady Light Opera Company for our spring musical production, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Pictured in the above photo are all of the Cadet Players and the staff members of the musical. Staff members are Brother Casimir, Producer, Mrs. Cathleen King, Director, Mr. John P. Dowd, Assistant Director, Ms. Sarah Waite, Musical Director, Mrs. Alice-Marie Marble, Choral Director and Mrs. Diane Warde, Costumer. CBA was chosen as the third best show out of nineteen schools.
"Outstanding Performer Awards" were presented to four of our actors, James Vitale, Alex Vitale, Dan Urbanski and Brittany Boivin,
a student at Holy Names Academy.
