Please download and complete the assignments for the course you will start in September.
You are expected to do journal writing as you read, taking note of characters, setting, plot and conflicts as they develop with corresponding page and chapter numbers. Take note when some aspect of the story surprises or puzzles you, particularly if a scene seems to be significant or memorable. The more writing you do, the better prepared you will be for class discussion and formal writing assignments in the first weeks of school.
All students must complete the required reading for their course. All students are highly encouraged to read at least one book from the suggested reading list.
