Alumni Gathering at Fenway Park

CBA hosted its annual alumni gathering in Boston on Tuesday, August 21 at Fenway Park for the Red Sox vs. Indians game. The game brought together Brothers from Boston, Connecticut, and Albany.

Alumni had a great time catching up with old teachers and classmates.

Mothers’ Review

On Wednesday, May 30, CBA held its Annual Mothers’ Review. Mothers’ Review is a special tradition during which CBA honors graduating seniors and their mothers. During this ceremony, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, and special family members were invited onto the field to receive their son’s sword and officer’s hat as a token of appreciation.

Students Inducted into the National Honor Society

On May 2, CBA hosted an Induction Ceremony for the St. Miguel Chapter of the National Honor Society and the St. Benilde Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. Eleven students were inducted into the National Honor Society and 20 students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. Induction into this prestigious national organization is based upon student efforts and achievements in scholarship, leadership, character, service, and citizenship.

Saxophonist, Awan Jenkins ’18 Continues to Succeed

On Saturday, April 14, Awan Jenkins ’18 won the Jazz High School Competition at the 36th Annual New England Saxophone Festival & Competition. As the winner of the competition, Awan was invited to perform as the opening act for the international saxophonist Yosvany Terry. Congratulations Awan!

CBA Military Ball

On January 14, the CBA JROTC program hosted its annual Military Ball at the Marriott Hotel. There were over 400 students and guests in attendance. The evening started with a receiving line, where Cadet Colonel Michael Pumiglia ’18, Major Don Fawthrop, and Dr. Schlegel welcomed everyone. Afterwards, students enjoyed a night of dinner and dancing, and in addition, many Cadets were promoted in front of their dates and fellow Brothers.
