DetailsCBA had a few special visitors on campus yesterday – Brother Robert Schieler, FSC, Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, Br. Richard Galvin, FSC, Auxiliary Visitor for the District of Eastern North America, and Brother Timothy Coldwell, FSC, General Councilor for the Lasallian Region of North America. Br. Robert, Br. Richard, and Br. Timothy were given a tour of campus by our middle school and high school students and joined them for lunch. Thank you to Br. Robert, Br. Richard, and Br. Timothy for joining us for the day.
DetailsCongratulations to our Youth in Philanthropy Award Winner, Gabriel Donovan ’22. The Youth in Philanthropy recognizes an outstanding youth (or youth group), age 18 or younger, demonstrating the true spirit of philanthropy through time, treasure, and talent.
DetailsIn an effort to further support the Real Brothers Wear Pink campaign, the modified soccer team had a special match on October 24 to honor those who have battled with cancer.

DetailsOn October 19, CBA Brothers joined from students Shenendehowa and LaSalle Institute as volunteers at the National Down Syndrome Society’s Buddy Walk in Schenectady’s Central Park.
DetailsIn honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CBA participated in the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign on October 17. For the second year in a row, Brothers dressed down in special “Real Brothers Wear Pink” shirts to raise awareness for breast cancer.
DetailsOver the summer Gabe Donovan ’22 met Lilly at St. Margaret’s Center. Lilly needed equipment to help with her communication skills, but it was going to be expensive. Gabe took action and designed shirts and tote bags for a fundraiser with a goal of raising $16,000 to help Lilly reach her technology goals. Gabe immensely surpassed that goal and has raised $50,000 to help not only Lilly, but many others at St. Margaret’s.
DetailsFor his 100th birthday on October 7, WWII veteran James South asked for 100 birthday cards. CBA students rallied around his request and sent 100 cards and letters to help him celebrate this milestone birthday!
