On May 29, CBA held the annual Mother’s Review, a special tradition to honor graduating seniors and their families. During this ceremony, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, and special family members were invited onto the field to receive their son’s sword and officers hat as a token of appreciation.Details
The Music Department hosted the Spring Festival Concert on May 22 in the Ned McGraw Gymnasium. The concert featured performances by the Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Mallet Percussion Ensemble and Wind Ensemble, followed by a finale that featured the combined talents of all CBA musicians.Details
On May 21, CBA held its annual Officers’ Commissioning Ceremony. The Class of 2020 went through leader selection earlier this month and were measured in a number of different categories, ranging from GPA and merits to their ability to influence and train fellow classmates.Details
Each year, CASDA recognizes the outstanding scholastic achievements of graduating seniors from high schools around the Capital Region. Sean Calagna ’19 was recognized this year for his involvement in music, athletics, and the JROTC program.Details
CBA’s 2nd annual #BronationDay raised $109,150.80 from 702 donors breaking last year’s record and enabling us to modernize and transform our lecture hall. #BronationDay is a full day of giving, fun, and spirit, and this year the CBA community was truly incredible.Details
The annual Mother-Son Communion Breakfast was hosted on May 5. The day started out with Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany, followed by brunch at the Albany Capital Center. This tradition has been a beautiful way for our students to thank and celebrate their moms, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and other important women in their lives. Special thanks to the Parents Association for planning this event.
