On the weekend of the 17th anniversary of Shrek, our Theatre Department performed their third spring production, Shrek the Musical. The show was a great success, with over 260 people in attendance for Friday night’s performance.

The club has grown tremendously throughout the past few years. When it began three years ago, only 12 students were a part of the first production, Spelling Bee. This year, the musical featured 19 high school students, four 7th-grade guards, twenty 5th and 6th-grade performers, two featured middle school students, and over a dozen stage crew members. In addition to our CBA boys, we had girls in the cast from Holy Names, Niskayuna, Shaker, Guilderland, and Shenendehowa.

Jake Lehning, Colin Patricelli, Nate Raia, Aidan Pacifico, George Franklin, and Katie Buddenhagen and Caroline Seely of AHN took their final bows on Sunday afternoon. Jake, Colin, Katie, and Caroline have been with the club from the start and have been monumental in building our #BigBrightCBAWorld.

Thanks to Mrs. Melanie Carroll and Ms. Alexis Hatch for their hard work and making these lifelong memories possible.
