Important Dates
New Parent & Student Orientation
New Parent and Student Orientation will take place Tuesday, August 26th at 6pm. This session is intended for all Freshman parents and students, and all new parents and students enrolled at CBA for the upcoming school year. A more detailed schedule of the program will be sent out later this summer and certain items pertaining to the new school year will be available. Parents and students are encouraged to attend.

Opening Days of School
The opening week of the school year starts on Wednesday, September 3rd. Specific grade levels will come to school on assigned days. Thursday, September 4th will be our first day of school for all grade levels. It will be a 12:30pm Dismissal. A more detailed schedule will be put out later this summer. Please call your individual school district to see when they will begin providing transportation for the upcoming school year.

Senior Portraits
Senior portraits will take place on September 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th. Senior parents will receive an email from Prestige Portraits asking you to sign up your son for a date and time. All pictures are done on campus in the Dress Blues uniform with their Officer’s Gear (if necessary). All students need to be in compliance with proper grooming standards for their portrait or it will not be taken.

Textbooks
In order to receive textbooks for the 2025 – 2026 school year, you must register online with Capital Region BOCES. Please go to capitalregionboces.org/textbooks and sign up. In order to register, you will need a Unique ID number. That number is your CBA student ID number which can be found in Powerschool. Once you register, you will receive an email confirmation from BOCES. If you do not receive an email, something went wrong and you should contact BOCES at 518-464-5121 (please check your spam folder). Reminder: Don’t forget to return this year’s textbooks to BOCES if you have not done so already. If not, you will not receive textbooks until your current ones are returned.

2025-26 Saratoga Bus Registration: The Saratoga Bus/HN Bus Information for 2025-26 will be available in a separate correspondence. Registration will begin the week of July 14th and will run through August. Please continue to check your email for sign up and route information.
2025-26 Student Parking Registration: Students may begin to register their vehicles for 2025-26. Please click here to complete the vehicle registration form and parking contract, and return it with payment to the CBA Main Office. Please make checks payable to CBA and put “Student Parking” in the memo line. Contact Dr. Lewyckyj at lewyckyj@cbaalbany.org with any questions.
