Student Council will host the first ever Fat Tuesday Chili Throwdown on Tuesday, March 5 from 6pm to 8pm in the cafeteria. For $5, you can sample numerous chili recipes and vote for your favorite! Interested in entering the competition? Complete this form and return it to Room 311. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Proceeds from the event will go to a charity of the winner's choice.

The CBA Varsity Baseball team is honored to once again be participating in Coaches vs. Cancer at the Joe Bruno Stadium. This year, the Brothers will face Guilderland High School on Friday, May 3 at 4:00PM. The booster club will be pre-selling tickets to the game and t-shirts will be available to purchase. The team has signed up for the Spring Sports Challenge to raise money for this event. If you are interested in donating to the cause, please use this online donation platform. We appreciate your support in striking out cancer. Go Brothers!

The CBA Theatre Department has been hard at work preparing for the spring musical, Once Upon a Mattress. There will be three performances: Friday, June 7 at 7:00PM; Saturday, June 8 at 7:00PM; Sunday, June 9 at 2:00PM. Advance tickets are on sale now! $13 for adults, $8 for students, and $5 for children 10 & under. Buy your ticket online today. The Friday and Sunday shows sell quickly. Seating is general admission. Ticket prices will increase at the door.

CBA Football Camp focuses on individual and team fundamentals on both offense and defense for any student-athlete interested in developing football skills or who may want to be part of the football program. The High School Session is open to students entering grades 9-12 in September 2019 will run from Sunday, June 23 to Thursday, June 27. See the flyer below for more information or click here to download a PDF version.

The Middle School Session is open to students entering grades 6-8 in September 2019 will run from Sunday, June 30 to Thursday, July 3. CBA Sports Camp is a fun and exciting way for boys entering grades 5-8 to play games, make friends, and be introduced to the tradition of CBA athletics. Coach Harry Marra '65 will be giving a FREE clinic at the CBA  track on Monday, August 5 from 2PM-6PM. Coach Marra was the 2016 Nike Track & Field Coach of the Year and the 2018 IAAF WORLD Coach of the Year. He has trained 2-time World Champion and 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist and Decathlon World Record Holder Ashton Eaton. He is currently training world class athletes around the world in the areas of speed, strength, and flexibility. These are essential areas for ALL sports. This one-time free event is an amazing opportunity to learn from the best in the world. He will answer any questions and put on demonstrations. Meet the Coaches Night for the Fall 2019 sports season will be Wednesday, August 14 at 6PM. All families of student-athletes must attend this meeting. Click here for more fall sports information.

On September 13, we will celebrate our annual Freshman Review to formally welcome our new cadets into the JROTC Brigade. During this ceremony, the new cadets will receive their gold star, which symbolizes that CBA is a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction, the highest rating a JROTC unit can achieve. The ceremony will begin at 6PM on the football field, followed by the Homecoming Game.
