Teamwork has always defined CBA basketball. This focus, expressed through generations of gifted and talented players who have been willing to sacrifice personal acclaim for the benefit of shared goals, has fostered a championship mentality since the program’s founding in 1924.
Under the new leadership of Galal Cancer ’11, the Christian Brothers Basketball program looks to continue a tradition of excellence.
CBA is a member of the Suburban Scholastic Council and competes at the AA level during Section 2 postseason play. Nearly 100 student athletes play across seven teams: Varsity, JV, Freshman, Modified and CYO teams in 5th, 6th and 7th grade.
Over its illustrious history, CBA has earned numerous conference titles, Section 2 titles and a New York State Championship in 2010.
