CBA Football Camp focuses on individual and team fundamentals on both offense and defense for any student-athlete interested in developing football skills or who may want to be part of the football program. The Middle School Session is open to students entering grades 6-8 in September 2019 will run from Sunday, June 30 to Thursday, July 3. CBA Sports Camp is a fun and exciting way for boys entering grades 5-8 to play games, make friends, and be introduced to the tradition of CBA athletics. Coach Harry Marra '65 will be giving a FREE clinic at the CBA track on Monday, August 5 from 2PM-6PM. Coach Marra was the 2016 Nike Track & Field Coach of the Year and the 2018 IAAF WORLD Coach of the Year. He has trained 2-time World Champion and 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist and Decathlon World Record Holder Ashton Eaton. He is currently training world class athletes around the world in the areas of speed, strength, and flexibility. These are essential areas for ALL sports. This one-time free event is an amazing opportunity to learn from the best in the world. He will answer any questions and put on demonstrations. The Head of School, Dr. James Schlegel, invites all CBA Brothers to join him for an alumni gathering at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The Boston Red Sox will be taking on the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday, August 21 at 7:10PM. Tickets are $40.00 for the Right Field Grandstand seats with access to the Sam Adams Deck and Bar. On Friday, September 6, alumni, family, and friends are invited to join us for our annual Flag Raising Ceremony to signify the beginning of the 2019-20 school year and to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. During this ceremony, we will honor nominated alumni for their outstanding contributions to our school, service, and country with induction into the JROTC Hall of Fame and a presentation of the LTC Todd J. Clark '90 Memorial Service Award. The ceremony will begin at 2PM. We ask that guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony in order to park.
On September 13, we will celebrate our annual Freshman Review to formally welcome our new cadets into the JROTC Brigade. During this ceremony, the new cadets will receive their gold star, which symbolizes that CBA is a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction, the highest rating a JROTC unit can achieve. The ceremony will begin at 6PM on the football field, followed by the Homecoming Game.
Homecoming festivities begin with the varsity football game vs. Colonie High School on Friday, September 13. During halftime, we will recognize all current Athletic Hall of Fame members and the 2019 inductees. After the game, we will celebrate all class reunions during our 3rd Annual Alumni After Party in the cafeteria. All alumni and their families are invited to join. Go Brothers!

Fagan ’79, Sean B. Murphy ’86, Thomas J. Dwyer ’91, and Joseph A. Bova ’05, as well as William Mehleisen Distinguished Service Award recipients Robert J. Forster ’47 and Don Gallagher.
