Project Lead the Way: Computer Science Principles

Grades 9-12     Credit: 1 This course aims to develop computational thinking, generate excitement about career paths that utilize computing, and introduce professional tools that foster creativity and collaboration. CSP helps students develop programming expertise and explore the workings of the Internet. Projects and problems include app development, visualization of data, cybersecurity, and simulation. The course curriculum is a College Board-approved implementation of AP CS Principles. Pre-requisites: Successful completion of PLTW IED or teacher recommendation. This course is a pre-requisite for AP Computer Science.

JROTC 12

Credit: 1 The fourth-year cadets are responsible for the daily Cadet administration and perform as commanders and staff officers. They act as assistant instructors in some subject areas for other JROTC classes. They continue to develop their leadership skills and plan special unit events such as the military ball, parades and the annual awards banquet as well as several Leadership camps.
