The CBA course selection process for the 2018-2019 school is now underway. Students currently in grades 8 – 11 (those entering grades 9-12 in the 18-19 school year) will view a PowerPoint presentation of the course selection process given by CBA school counselors during their social studies classes starting today, 3/21/18, concluding on Friday 3/23/18. A copy of that presentation is available below. Also on the CBA website you can find the 2018-19 High School Course Catalog which should be referred to when determining what courses to request. Additionally, your son’s teachers will be reviewing course offerings in their subject area.
This year the course selection process will be conducted electronically through the PowerSchool Portal. A personalized email was sent to all eligible students and parents containing your son’s PowerSchool log in credentials in case he has forgotten his username or password.
Student and parent input remains a vital component of the course selection process. We are hopeful that our new process will be more efficient for everyone.
