It has been 5 years since our beloved colleague and friend, Joe Fingerhut, lost his battle with colon cancer. We’re coming together on November 2 to honor Joe and many others who have lost their lives to colon cancer, as well as to raise funds for the Colon Cancer Coalition.

On Monday, November 11, the JROTC Brigade and middle school students will march in the Albany Veterans Day Parade to honor the veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Parade orders from the JROTC Department will be available soon.
CBA will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, November 14 from 7:30am to 1:30pm. For information on how to make an appointment, fill out a health history form, and prepare for donating, please visit the Red Cross website.

On Friday, November 22, the Middle School will conduct Parent-Teacher Conferences from 8AM to 3PM. Each session is based on the student's last name. Please show up at any time during your child's session and touch base with as many of your son's teachers, as you feel necessary. Below are the times of our 3 conference sessions arranged in alphabetical groups for 5th through 8th grade. Please attend the session corresponding to your son's last name. Session Last Name Time I A-G 8:00-10:30 II H-O 10:30-12:30 III P-Z 1:00-3:15 These conferences should only last 5 minutes per teacher. If you feel you need additional time, please set up a follow up meeting at a later date. If a teacher is already occupied with a conference, please wait patiently outside the teacher's door until their room is freed up.
The Guidance Department will host a PSAT Information Night on Wednesday, December 18 at 7PM.
The Theatre Department will host their annual Cabaret Night on Thursday, December 19 at 7PM. Students choose many of the songs and look forward to performing them for you.
The Senior Night Spring Concert will be held on Thursday, April 23 at 7:30PM at the Clark Auditorium. The Wind and Jazz Ensembles will play with special honor to our seniors and their families. Admission and parking are free. We hope to see you there!
The NHS/NJHS Induction Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at 7PM in the Ned McGraw Gymnasium.
JROTC Leadership Awards Night will be held on Thursday, April 30 at 7PM in the Ned McGraw Gymnasium. We will be presenting a wide range of awards to students in the areas of academics, leadership, and athletics.
The JROTC department will host the Officers' Commissioning Ceremony on Monday, May 18 at 7PM in the Ned McGraw Gymnasium.
Join us for the Spring Festival Concert on Wednesday, May 20 at 7:30PM in the Ned McGraw Gymnasium. We'll celebrate the end of our year in music with performances from all CBA bands.

The Albany Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 25 to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. This parade is mandatory for all members of the Cadet Brigade. High School Students are to wear their Dress Blues uniform (White Pants), hats with white hat covers, and white gloves. Middle School students are to wear their school uniform. Parade orders from the JROTC Office will be available soon.
